Today, DVT Assistans employs approximately 350 personal assistants. With us, you get more than a job – you get the world's most important job, where you have the opportunity every day to make a real difference in another person's life.

About the Position

We are looking for an assistant for approximately 30% to work with a young man in Katrineholm. He goes horse riding once a week, so you must not be allergic to horses or afraid of them, as you will need to lead the horse. There is also a cat in the home.

Cycling is among his favorite activities, which means there will be many long rides on his tandem bicycle. Therefore, you need to be physically fit. Even though the bicycle has an electric motor, a lot of pedaling is required.

Otherwise, the work involves active supervision, hygiene assistance, and support in the home.

Working Hours

The working hours are scheduled for afternoons/evenings, on Mondays, every other Tuesday, and during weekends.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who is calm and secure, and who does not stress unnecessarily. Experience with autism, low-affective interaction, and epilepsy is meritorious.

There may be an opportunity to combine this position with another, but a driver's license and access to a car are required in that case.

Background Check

For work with the elderly or adults with disabilities

Work in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities is subject to background checks according to the Act (2026:43) on background checks for work in the homes of elderly persons or adults with disabilities. The law applies from March 1, 2026. In support of the law, we as a company have a policy to request extracts from the criminal record register in connection with new hires. The background check is conducted as a final step in the recruitment process and is part of our overall suitability assessment.

Order via link: Criminal Record Extract | The Swedish Police Authority (https://polisen.se/registerutdrag), select the tab "Work with elderly or adults with disabilities".

Apply

We place great importance on your personal letter. In addition, we require a CV and references.

We look forward to receiving your application!!!
