Eccera is now looking for an Infrastructure and Systems Specialist who wants to take a key role in an engaged team on an assignment for our client within the defense industry in Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation, management, and further development of production-proximity IT systems and infrastructure solutions. You will become an important part of the team that ensures business-critical systems function efficiently, securely, and stably.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Operation, monitoring, and management of server environments (Windows and Linux)
• Automation of routines and processes through scripting, such as PowerShell or Azure DevOps
• Troubleshooting, incident handling, and problem-solving in production environments
• Installation, configuration, and further development of systems and services
• Work with integrations and data flows between different systems
• Implementation of system updates, patch management, and security work
• Documentation and continuous improvement work of technical solutions
• Collaboration with internal teams, the business, and external suppliers
• Contribute to the development and efficiency of infrastructure, processes, and ways of working

Your profile

To be relevant for the role, we see that you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure, or similar technical roles
• Good experience in operating and managing Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with scripting and automation
• Basic knowledge in networking and communication
• Experience working in environments with high demands for availability, security, and stability
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and its various components
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to work
• Ability to work independently while being a valued team player
• Very good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Knowledge in monitoring, e.g., CheckMK
• Experience with log management and performance optimization
• Experience with SQL and database management
• Experience with Jira and agile working methods
• Experience with ServiceNow or other case management systems
• Experience with PAM solutions (Privileged Access Management)

Other

Remote work: Possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

Travel: Travel may occur as parts of the team are located in other locations.

Security clearance: Since the assignment is within the defense industry, security clearance and background checks may be conducted before employment or assignment start. Swedish citizenship may be required depending on the security classification of the assignment.
