The Social Services Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer interventions based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be part of developing social services?

We are now looking for a substitute Senior Social Worker for our youth group, which is part of one of the investigation units. The youth group is responsible for working with young people with norm-breaking behavior and placements in residential care homes (HVB), as well as supported housing.

You will become one of four Senior Social Workers in the two investigation units.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will have a key role in supervising and supporting social workers in their work. You contribute to secure legal processing, a good work environment, and continuous quality and development work. Here you get to combine leadership, methodological support, and collaboration to create the best possible support for those we serve.

As a Senior Social Worker, you work both closely with colleagues in daily life and strategically together with the unit manager. You are a method-supporting function that ensures the quality of the case processing and contributes to developing routines and working methods.

The role includes among other things:

• Provide supervision and methodological support to social workers in their case processing.
• Ensure that case processing is carried out in accordance with laws, guidelines, and prevailing case law.
• Represent the Social Welfare Board in court when necessary.
• Participate in follow-up, quality work, and development of routines and methods.
• Support the unit manager in planning and work environment issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external actors for a cohesive support to users.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have long experience of working with authority exercises for children and young people and who enjoy development and improvement work.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and analytical. You have a good ability to supervise, support, and motivate colleagues with a coaching approach, while also being able to work in a structured and legally secure manner. Your ability to collaborate allows you to build good relationships both internally and externally, and you actively contribute to a positive work environment.

We also see that you have:

• A degree in Social Work (Social Work degree)
• Good knowledge of social services legislation, administrative law, and relevant regulations
