Occupational Therapist with an interest in Hand Rehabilitation joining Solna Sundbyberg Rehab!
We are looking for you who want to be part of a work group where community, engagement, and a focus on the patient characterize daily life.
About us:
Solna Sundbyberg Rehab is located in pleasant premises close to commuter trains, the subway, and buses, approximately 15 minutes from Stockholm City. Our main task is home rehabilitation in connection with inpatient care, as well as outpatient work within primary care.
Solna Sundbyberg Rehab is part of Rehab Nordväst, which provides primary care rehabilitation in five municipalities. We have four clinics and three neuro teams with a total of approximately 150 employees. You can read more about us at Solna Sundbyberg Rehab (regionstockholm.se).

Job Description:
As an occupational therapist with us, you will:
- Work with patients of all ages and with varied diagnoses.
- Work both at the clinic and in the patient's home.
- Work with hand rehabilitation.
- Perform assessments of, for example, activity capacity, work capacity, and cognitive impairment.
- Test out assistive devices and provide information to patients, relatives, and staff.
- Work both independently and in teams with other professions.
- Conduct group treatments and individual interventions.
- Supervise students.
- Documentation takes place in TakeCare.
Requirements:
- You are a licensed occupational therapist with eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare.
Merits:
- Experience working within home rehabilitation and primary care rehabilitation is a plus.
- Experience working with hand patients, patients with ADHD/Autism (NPF), and stress-related issues is a plus.
- Good computer skills and experience with the journal system TakeCare are a plus.
- In addition to the above, it is a plus if you are trained as a lymphedema therapist or rehabilitation coordinator.
- A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
Employment Type:
Permanent position. Probationary period may apply.
Full-time 100% - 40 hours/week. Working hours Monday–Friday.
Start date according to agreement.

For patient-oriented work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination according to current directives, which takes place through the occupational health service before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement applies to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
