About Us

Nordisk Hemservice is a family-owned company established in 2002. The company was founded by sisters Maria Irebro and Marie-Louise Bergqvist. Today, we have approximately 150 employees working in Danderyd, Östermalm, and Södermalm.

Nordisk Hemservice has a contract with the City of Stockholm. In our work, we follow established routines and guidelines along with continuous quality controls.

High quality in care is important to us Our goal is for all our customers to feel satisfied and secure with our care. By collaborating with healthcare staff, district nurses, and Advanced Home Care (ASiH), we can develop and tailor care and support to individual needs.

We are currently looking for several people who want to join us and work together with us, especially during the summer.

Qualifications

• Experience in service professions
• Good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Experience in nursing/care
• Good physical fitness, as the work involves a lot of walking and lifting heavy objects
• A certificate of good conduct (police record) must be provided before an employment offer is made.

Job Responsibilities

Working in home care means working independently with significant responsibility. At the same time, you are part of our team and have daily contact with our customers and their relatives. Your tasks include planning and performing nursing care in customers' homes, such as:

• Personal care (help with personal hygiene, mobility, dressing).
• Services (cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry).
• Escort services (accompanying the customer to activities outside the home).

After each visit, you will perform thorough documentation and time registration in a mobile application. You travel between customers on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

Visits to customers take place from 07:00 to 22:00, every day of the year. We appreciate flexibility and the ability to work both day and evening shifts, as well as weekends.
