In addition to our established ENT clinic, we have launched a "digifysic" clinic, which is a physical nurse-led clinic combined with remote assessment by physicians.

About the position

As a Specialist Physician, you will help steer the operations towards a combination of a physician-led clinic and a digifysic clinic. You will work in collaboration with physicians from Karolinska University Hospital who are on-site a few days per week as well as remotely. Your duties include standard clinic work and procedure room operations.

We are a small team consisting of physicians from Karolinska, two nurses, a nursing assistant, a medical secretary, and an audiologist who works approximately one day per week.

Since we have just started our joint collaboration with Karolinska Hospital, there is ongoing work to review which examinations are currently performed by physicians but will in the future be performed by nurses and then assessed remotely by physicians.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Conduct standard clinic work within ear, nose, and throat diseases.
• Perform procedure room operations.
• Participate in the development of the digifysic clinic (combination of physical clinic and digital assessments).
• Collaborate with colleagues from Karolinska University Hospital, both on-site and remotely.
• Contribute to the development of new working methods where certain examinations are performed by nurses and then assessed by physicians remotely.

About you

For this position, you need:

• Swedish license and specialist certificate in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT).
• Experience from working at an ENT clinic in Sweden.
• A supportive attitude towards those working with the digifysic clinic.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
