Do you want to work with the archipelago right outside your window? You now have the opportunity to join our nursing team as a Lead Nurse for 14 residents at our nursing home located in the beautiful nature of Blidö. Here you will have a central and significant role where, as a nurse, you are the hub of the network and get to make a real difference in people's daily lives.

About the position

The role includes standard nursing duties with a focus on care and support. At our facility, you will also be responsible for supervising care staff on various care matters and delegating tasks. As a nurse, you are a vital part of our work in person-centered care, BPSD (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia), and palliative care through NVP. The employment percentage can vary between 65-100% depending on your preferences. Depending on the percentage you choose, the schedule will vary accordingly. Working hours are primarily during daytime, Monday to Friday. If you choose to work full-time, some evening work may occur – one evening every other week, and one weekend shift approximately every sixth weekend.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing medical assessments
• Participating in rounds with physicians
• Supervising and delegating tasks to care staff
• Participating in team meetings
• Medication management

About you

Requirements for this position:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Valid driver's license and driving experience

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Further education in elderly care/palliative care

You are a person who is passionate about contributing to quality and safety in healthcare, and you appreciate actively being involved in strengthening patient safety at our nursing homes. Caring for our elderly is second nature to you, and you place great value on working specifically within elderly care. You thrive working independently, making professional assessments, and taking own decisions, while also appreciating collaboration in interdisciplinary teams. The role offers varied tasks, which suits you if you have a flexible and solution-focused approach to work.
