About the position

In Home Care, you are offered independent work where you get to contribute to the development of the operations. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with other nurses, rehabilitation staff, and care assistants to meet the patients' care needs. You supervise care assistants, and the work is done in a team together with home help staff.

The position is based in both Rimbo and Norrtälje and is a hourly-paid position. We will be able to offer occasional shifts per month, and possibly more if needed. You are likely a nurse who already has a job but wishes to work extra hours.

Your duties include among other things:

• Basic home care such as wound dressing, catheter care, and medication management.
• Creating care plans.
• Assessing patients' needs and follow-ups.
• Quality registers.
• Delegations.
• Collaboration with colleagues in the customer choice and other care providers.
• Supervising care assistants.

About you

For this position, you need:

• To be a registered nurse, district nurse, or nurse with further education in elderly care.
• Hold a B-driver's license and have driving experience.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Prescription rights and experience within the profession.
• Further educated as a District Nurse or within Elderly Care.

As a person, you are driven by your medical knowledge, while your empathetic ability helps you to meet patients and colleagues in a good way. You are self-sufficient and can plan your time according to the patients' needs. The role involves being able to reprioritize when necessary, which is why it is important that you are confident in making quick decisions. Collaboration skills are also key, as you will work closely with many different professional groups.

About us

Basic Home Care is part of Customer Choice Tiohundra, together with home rehabilitation and home help in Norrtälje. We have close cooperation with the health centers where our patients are registered, and we are also responsible for housing within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and social psychiatry. Together with the care assistants in home help, we have regular joint breakfasts and close cooperation.
