On the Neuropsychiatric Unit, we specialize in treating individuals aged 18 and older with ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. We offer a wide range of multimodal treatments within a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry. It is also an advantage if you have previous experience in psychiatric care and working with medication initiation and follow-up of ADHD medication.

About the position

As a nurse with us, you will meet patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities for assessment and follow-up. Common tasks include evaluating the effectiveness of medication treatment for ADHD, medication clinics, and psycho-pedagogical group interventions. The work is varied, and you plan your work independently in collaboration with other staff members at the clinic.

The role also involves collaboration with neighboring care providers and external partners to ensure good care and contribute to the development of the operations. You will work together with seven other nurses who also handle incoming inquiries via TeleQ, Alltid Öppet (Always Open), and 1177, supporting each other in daily patient care.

Other information

The position is a full-time temporary assignment for a 6-month period, with the possibility of extension.

Working hours are Monday–Friday 08:00–16:30.

The position will be filled provided it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):

  • A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
