We are now looking for a driven, engaged, and innovative general practitioner to strengthen our team at Norrtälje Södra Health Centre. If you are interested in making a real difference and shaping the future of healthcare in a pleasant and development-oriented environment, this is the right place for you!
About the position
Here we value broad competence and independence, and we strive to offer good continuing education and high medical quality. As a general practitioner with us, you will see patients of all ages, both for acute and scheduled appointments, digitally and in person.
In your role, you will also supervise AT, ST, and BT doctors, as well as support other professional categories in medical assessments.
We work actively towards the National Board of Health and Welfare's goal of 1,100 listed patients per general practitioner. We have now reached our own internal sub-goal of 1,250 patients. Our long-term goal is 1,100 listed patients per full-time general practitioner. We are not there yet, but we have currently set a cap of 1,250 listed patients, which is a step in the right direction and something we are proud to offer. Selection and interviews may take place on an ongoing basis.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Regular clinic work, such as annual check-ups and investigations, acute visits, and minor surgical procedures.
- Rounds with nurses.
- Ongoing quality work, both on your own unit and jointly within the primary care network Tiohundra.
- Supervision of students and other professional categories.
- Digital patient meetings.
About our offer:
We value continuous competence development and offer both scheduled internal training and opportunities for external training to ensure that our employees are well-equipped for their tasks. When operations allow, there is an opportunity for remote work.
We offer a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK per year via Epassi. You can read more about our benefits here.
About you
For this position, you need:
- To be a specialist in general medicine with Swedish licensure.
- Good Swedish skills, both written and spoken.
Meritorious:
- Previous experience working in Swedish primary care.
- Experience with the medical record system Take Care.
We are looking for someone who is confident and stable in their professional role, with good judgment and the ability to make well-founded decisions even in pressured situations. You are self-reliant and take responsibility for your work, while also having an easy time collaborating with colleagues in different professional roles. You communicate clearly and respectfully, and build good relationships with both patients and staff. Your service-oriented attitude ensures that you always keep the patient's needs in focus and strive to offer high-quality care.
You share our values, which are based on participation, security, and respect. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
About us
Norrtälje Södra Health Centre has approximately 11,400 listed patients, and about 35 employees work here. The health centre is located in central Norrtälje.
At the health centre, you will have colleagues with high competence and long experience, characterized by a good work climate and cross-professional collaboration. Here you will find a diabetes nurse, a heart failure nurse, an asthma/COPD clinic, and an elderly care clinic. The health centre also has a rehab team with a counselor and psychologist, as well as a rehabilitation coordinator. All staff categories are engaged in student supervision in one way or another, which we believe contributes to us often receiving top grades from our medical candidates.
Tiohundra has 5 health centres and 1 branch health centre. We collaborate on quality and development issues with both the hospital and other operations within the company.
We are part of Tiohundra – the complete care company in Roslagen.
Due to leave and holidays, interviews and contact will take place in August.
