Åstorp is a beautifully located town with proximity to both Söderåsen, the coast, and city life. Thanks to good bus and train connections, it is easy to commute here. About half of our employees live in Helsingborg or Ängelholm, both located just over 20 miles away.

On February 2, 2026, we merged with Söderåsen, which is now a branch of Åstorp Primary Healthcare Centre. Together, we are approximately 60 employees with broad and solid competence – and stronger than ever.

Among other things, we have a doctor's office with a specialist in general practice, a district nurse's office, several specialist clinics, a dietitian, and a psychologist. We also have a family centre where our Child Health Services (CHS) are included.

Our rehab team consists of physiotherapists, an occupational therapist, and a rehabilitation coordinator. We offer our patients good accessibility, high quality, and professional treatment.

The goal is to strengthen patients' health and quality of life by ensuring they receive the right care from the right profession. We collaborate closely between different professional groups and work systematically with rehabilitation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of physiotherapist, you will work with the common tasks included in a primary healthcare centre. You will become part of our cross-professional team and collaborate closely with other professional groups.

You have your own, scheduled clinic where you independently manage time booking and patient flow. The patients who apply to us have problems with the musculoskeletal system and support organs, as well as psychosomatic problems, ranging from newly developed to long-term conditions. As a first-level clinic, triage is done both by phone and by our clinic nurses.

The work includes both individual treatments and group activities, and we place great emphasis on a good working environment and sustainable health – both for our patients and for our employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. We would like you to have a few years of experience in the profession and primary care experience. Good computer skills and knowledge of the medical record system PMO are advantageous.

As a person, you have an interest in people and find change exciting. Therefore, you are also happy to take the initiative to help develop the operations. Furthermore, you are a person without pretensions who enjoys working together with different professional categories. You contribute to a well-functioning collaboration, while also having the ability to work independently. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Duration: The position is a one-year temporary assignment with start date 2026-08-24, or by agreement, with the possibility of extension.
