Make a difference. Every day.
We are now looking for a nurse to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Ward 2 in Malmö.
The inpatient care for child and adolescent psychiatry in Malmö is regional, and the target group is children and adolescents up to 18 years old. The inpatient care includes an acute ward for stabilization measures and an emergency reception that handles patient triage. Furthermore, there are two inpatient wards in the inpatient care that provide care to patients who need a longer inpatient period to reach a functional level and then continue their treatment in outpatient care. Inpatient care is provided to patients. On the wards, we work in a cross-professional manner, focusing on the patient's and family's needs.
Ward 2 has 8 places for eating disorder treatment. In addition, there are two places for patients with Voluntary Inpatient Admission (VIA). The ward's mission is to help the patient gain weight by supporting guardians in taking control of the patient's meals and normalizing eating. The care takes place in close collaboration with guardians/relatives and in early cooperation with neighboring care providers and the municipality. Here you get to use your full competence in meeting each adolescent and quickly build an alliance to meet the child where they are. A lot of it is about listening and being present. The care on the wards is supported by SVP Inpatient Care.
