RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a varied position where you will use both your clinical judgment and organizational skills as a nurse and operating room coordinator. You will become part of a workplace where you make a real difference for patients in vulnerable situations. The role is central to the unit and requires a solution-oriented approach.

The clinical work includes:

• Dressing changes
• Post-operative wound checks
• Sampling
• Telephone advice
• Admission calls

In the role of Operating Room Coordinator, you, together with another OR coordinator, are responsible for planning and booking surgeries within breast and melanoma surgery, as well as coordinating work between different professional categories to ensure an efficient and patient-safe flow. You also have contact with patients prior to surgery and handle administrative tasks related to care planning and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a registered nurse authorized to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement.

The following are meritorious for the position:

• Experience in outpatient care, surgical care, or similar.
• Experience in operating room coordination.

Furthermore, you have a good ability to work in a structured, independent, and team-oriented manner. You thrive in a role where you combine patient meetings with planning and coordination.
