And now we are looking for a new colleague for our after-school center in Åsarna!

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher at the after-school center with us in Berg Municipality, you work together with your colleagues to design meaningful after-school education for our students, based on their interests and needs. In your work, you draw upon the after-school center's compensatory and supplementary mandate when shaping the content of the activities. You are part of a work team where you jointly are responsible for the pedagogical activities and the development of school break-time activities. All employees at the school are involved in systematic quality work, and you view collegial learning as a natural part of your assignment.

As a teacher specializing in after-school education, we assume that you are familiar with the central content and competencies in the new curriculum texts for after-school centers and that you can base your planning, implementation, and evaluation of the activities on these documents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher specializing in after-school education, or who have other pedagogical education or experience that the employer assesses as equivalent and relevant for the position. We expect you to be well-versed in the national guidelines for after-school center activities. If you have previous experience within the profession, as well as from systematic development work, we consider this a merit. You must have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Berg Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality. Knowledge of the South Sami language and culture is therefore considered a merit.

As a person, you are secure and stable. Furthermore, you have a good ability to take responsibility, plan, organize, and prioritize your work in an efficient manner. We also look for someone who can create and maintain good relationships with others, is receptive, and has good empathetic skills. The position is a permanent full-time (100%) employment with start date as agreed. Upon employment, a certificate of good conduct (misstanke- och belastningsregister) will be required.

Berg Municipality applies HÖK/AB (general terms) to the position. We use individual salary setting. For this position, the current entry salary range is 32,000 SEK – 37,469 SEK per month, depending on your previous experience and competence.
