Cederbergskolan is an F-9 school located close to nature in a mountainous area. The school is situated in the heart of Föllinge with direct access to cross-country skiing tracks, a nice sports hall, and a newly renovated swimming pool. Our school currently has approximately 90 students from preschool class to grade nine. We are building a school for the future and are looking for engaged staff who want to be part of this journey. We are seeking secure and confident teachers who wish to work collegially and develop the school together with students and colleagues from preschool class to grade nine.

The Child and Education Administration has approximately 800 employees. The administration's operations cover the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school (F-9), adapted primary school, after-school centers, catering and facility maintenance, mother tongue instruction, and library services.

A day as a teacher at Cederbergskolan

We are now looking for you who are a qualified teacher for grades 1–3.

The role of primary school teacher at Cederbergskolan includes planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as assessing students' acquired knowledge.

You evaluate and develop the pedagogical work based on the school's steering documents, the student's needs and abilities, both individually and together with the work team.

You conduct well-proven, creative teaching and find strategies to reach every student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth.

In this role, you collaborate with other school staff to ensure a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are eligible and licensed as a teacher for grades 1–3.

You are clear in your leadership and skilled in communication.

You have good didactic and pedagogical skills and a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's steering documents, which you can use effectively in your daily work.

You have an investigative approach to your practice and adapt teaching based on the needs of the student group.

You can lead and organize your work to create study peace and a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day.

You have the ability to develop your teaching based on evidence-based research as well as good familiarity with and knowledge of digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

Experience in reading instruction is considered an advantage.

Other information

The position is a permanent employment (100 %) starting in August 2026.

Krokom Municipality is currently making a special effort related to particularly hard-to-recruit professional groups in certain geographical areas. Cederbergskolan is included in this effort. Therefore, a salary supplement of 3,000 SEK/month for full-time work is paid to licensed teachers employed for this position.
