The federation's eight schools are located in natural and mountainous environments spread across six municipalities – Berg, Bräcke, Krokom, Ragunda, Åre, and Östersund.

Jämtlands Gymnasium Wargentin is the largest upper secondary school in northern Sweden. The school is located in the center of Östersund. Description

We are looking for a certified primary school teacher for grades 4–9 with qualifications to teach mathematics combined with another subject.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%).

Your future responsibilities

You will teach mathematics at the primary school level for grades 4–9 within the Introduction Programme. The role includes planning, conducting, and following up on teaching based on students' different prerequisites and needs.

The position also includes mentoring, where you are responsible for monitoring and supporting students' knowledge development and social development.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in mathematics for primary school grades 4–9 and/or the upper secondary school's introduction programme. Experience in teaching at the primary school level or within the introduction programme is meritorious, as is education or experience within NPF (Neuropsychiatric Function Variations) and IF (Individual Educational Plans).

You have a clear student focus and adapt your teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites. You work structured, goal-oriented, and with a long-term perspective, while remaining flexible in your approach.

You have knowledge of and a strong interest in working with students in need of special support. Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric function variations is meritorious.

You collaborate well with colleagues and actively contribute to professional learning within the work team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your ability to build good relationships with students.

You are confident in working with documentation and assessment according to current regulatory documents and use digital tools as a natural part of your teaching.
