We are looking for a warm, creative, and dedicated piano and vocal teacher who wants to spread the joy of music in our organization. Here, you will meet students within the comprehensive school, ranging from tentative first notes to more developed musical expression.

Responsibilities

As a piano and vocal teacher, you teach children and young people of different ages and levels. You plan your teaching independently and are an important part of the students' musical development and self-confidence.

The work takes place during the day, but evening work may occur in connection with concerts and other activities.

The position is 75% and involves work in several locations within the municipality – therefore, you need to be able to travel around smoothly.

Own car and driver's license are required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Teach piano and vocals, individually and in ensembles
• Create inspiring and adapted lessons
• Participate in concerts, performances, and projects
• Collaborate with colleagues
• Contribute to the development of our activities

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has vocal and instrumental training or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.
• Is passionate about working with children and young people.
• Can meet both beginners and more experienced students.
• Is flexible, self-reliant, and enjoys collaborating with both students and colleagues.
• Has a Category B driver's license (required).

Personal Qualities

You are structured and have a good ability to plan, document, and evaluate your work. Furthermore, you are responsible and accustomed to working both independently and in a group. You are trustworthy, communicative, and have a constructive approach aimed at maintaining good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and teachers in the comprehensive school. Creativity and a desire to develop both the activities and yourself in your role as a teacher are also qualities we consider important. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Berg Municipality applies HÖK/AB (General Terms), Appendix M to the position. We apply individual salary setting. For this position, the current entry salary range is 28,000 SEK – 35,000 SEK per month, depending on your previous experience and competence.
