Your Role

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager for our design and support operations, where the maintenance system for the Gripen C/D is in focus. Our deliveries are crucial for supporting all users of the Gripen and play a key role in ensuring efficient and safe operation of the platform.

In this role, you will become part of the project management team within the ILS Design Gripen C/D area, which is part of the Gripen business area. The area possesses extensive experience in project management, technical leadership, and business development, and we are now striving to spread this competence to more employees. A central part of your work will be to ensure careful and long-term planning, which is crucial for maintaining high availability for the Gripen – something that is more important than ever.

As a Junior Project Manager within the area's projects and sub-projects, you will work closely with technical leadership and other competencies to ensure that the prerequisites for delivering all projects according to plan and within given timeframes are in place. To succeed, your ability to create thoughtful plans and contribute to efficient working methods is critical for driving projects forward and ensuring efficiency and quality in every delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Projectify and plan incoming assignments
• Follow up on and manage changes within scope and schedules
• Report internally and externally regarding time, technology, and economics in projects
• Coordinate your projects with other ongoing projects within the area
• Consolidate the area's calculations

You will also serve as a support to area and section managers in resource and capacity issues.

As a Junior Project Manager, you coordinate our central roles for design and support, where our commitment is growing. The operations include, among other things, the preparation of maintenance data, maintenance publications, modification directives, and spare parts recommendations. In the role, you will work across the organization with, for example, development organizations and support departments.

The assignments will vary in both complexity and scope over time. Therefore, there are good opportunities to shape your individual development plan based on your previous experience and wishes.

Your Profile

You are curious, have strong drive, and a structured work approach that moves the work forward. We place great emphasis on you solving tasks independently. We also see that you are communicative and solve problems in a non-hierarchical manner. Experience in leading others is meritorious, but the role may also suit you if you are looking for the next step in your development.

To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you have a basic education from a university, college, or university college. A technical background and experience within Saab's Gripen development are meritorious, but not a requirement to succeed in the position. We also value business acumen and a strong desire to understand and meet the customer's needs.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at any time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
