RESPONSIBILITIES

Horred Home Care has been named one of Sweden's leading home care groups for several years in a row, based on user surveys from the National Board of Health and Welfare. The team has a high focus on users and takes good care of new employees. It is important to us that we have fun together and that every employee has an important role to play. As a nursing assistant/care assistant in home care, you will:

  • Work closely with the individual and be a support for them in their daily lives.
  • Perform care and support work at people's homes.
  • Motivate and stimulate individuals based on their individual prerequisites, needs, and wishes. Interventions are granted based on assistance decisions and can vary from personal care, support around meals, support in social activities, to collaboration with relatives.
  • Act as the care contact and plan, implement, document, and follow up on care work for the person in need of support and help.
  • Perform certain delegated health and medical care tasks.

We work based on the Social Services Act and the national value base, focusing on the individual's needs. The work involves providing social care and nursing from a health-promoting approach, which among other things means utilizing the individual's resources and focusing on the healthy aspects of each care recipient.

Working hours are scheduled during day, evening, and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply should have previous experience in care and support work within elderly care. It is meritorious if you are a trained nursing assistant and have previous experience working in home care, although this is not a requirement for the position but will be prioritized. We require a driver's license as the operations are located in one of the municipality's outer areas and we collaborate with nearby operations based on flexible placement.

We are looking for you who:

  • Have a positive outlook and are both professional and confident in your professional role.
  • Have a strong commitment and interest in the target group, as well as the ability to meet people in a professional manner.
  • Are calm and clear in your communication, as well as receptive and able to motivate users to preserve skills and independence.
  • Adapt easily to you and your working methods based on changed prerequisites and new information. You can work independently, make your own decisions, and plan and reprioritize work when necessary. You have the ability to look up and see the needs of the entire operation.
  • Have the ability to see your own development areas and take responsibility for acquiring new knowledge.
  • Have good computer skills as documentation is an important part of our work.

You must be able to communicate and express yourself well both orally and in writing in Swedish.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date is agreed upon with the manager.
