Solenergispecialisten is now looking for an economist for our office in Örnsköldsvik. Here you will have a business-oriented and varied role where you work with accounting, annual accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial follow-up, and project reporting, while also contributing to the development of the company's finance function.
We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, create structure, and be a key part of the company's continued growth. You will work closely with management and project organization and have the opportunity to influence both working methods and processes in a company on an exciting development journey.

Your role as an economistAs an economist at Solenergispecialisten, you will have a central role with significant personal responsibility. You will be responsible for the ongoing financial work while acting as an important support to management and operations in financial matters.
The role suits you if you enjoy combining accounting and financial management with analysis, follow-up, and business development. You will be a key person in creating structure, quality, and decision support that contributes to the company's continued growth.
ResponsibilitiesAccounting and Annual AccountsOngoing accounting
Supplier and customer accounts
Monthly and annual closing
VAT reporting and tax declarations
Handling of tax deductions
Contact with the Swedish Tax Agency and other authorities
Financial reporting
Profit follow-up and analysis
Follow-up of key figures and profitability
Preparation of decision support for management
Project follow-up and cost control
Progressive profit settlement
Support to project managers and management group
Follow-up of the financial outcome of projects
Coordination of reporting between companies in the group
Development and efficiency improvement of financial processes
Improvement of routines and internal working methods
Contact with auditors and external partners
Administrative support to operations
We are looking for someone with experience in accounting and financial follow-up who thrives in a role where you get to work both operationally and with a development-oriented approach.
You have a structured working method, good analytical skills, and an interest in understanding the business behind the numbers. You appreciate collaborating with colleagues while feeling confident in driving your work forward independently.
We would like you to havePost-secondary education in economics, accounting, or finance
Experience in ongoing accounting and annual accounts
Experience in financial follow-up and budgeting
Good knowledge of Excel and financial systems
Good ability to communicate financial information to different parts of the organization
Experience in project reporting
Experience in progressive profit settlement
Experience in group reporting
Structured and meticulous
Analytical and business-oriented
