About Us

Råsunda Centralskola is a school for grades 7–9 located on Parkvägen. The school has 4–5 parallel classes and is led by two deputy principals who, together with the principal, team leaders, and lead teachers, strive to provide good conditions for collaboration and collegial learning. Teachers are organized in grade-level teams. Within the subject and grade level, there is scheduled time for collaboration between teachers who share responsibility for the teaching in the subject and grade level, in addition to two common conference times each week.

The school's vision is that every person should find their place. In our shared value system regarding students, we believe that students want to learn if they can, that equal is not always fair, but primarily that every student is the right student for us. The school has a well-developed student health service and a functioning, prioritized organization for special support. What Does the Job Entail?

Together with other teachers, you are responsible for the pedagogical activities. You will be part of a team that will design and develop the operations and lay a good foundation for the students' development. We focus on developing our pedagogical competence and teaching, and our development areas include language-developing approaches as well as security and study environment. An important part of the job is to develop the social climate so that all students feel good and thrive in the group.

The position includes all aspects of the Natural Sciences (NO) subject, from developing ideas and planning the work to creating and evaluating the work. You conduct lessons, pedagogical documentation, assessment, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel seen.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who

• are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Natural Sciences (NO) for grades 7–9
• have experience in pedagogical work
• have experience in pedagogical documentation
• are well familiar with the curriculum
• have knowledge of ICT (information and communication technology) and assistive technology
• can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.

We would appreciate it if you had a few years of experience working as a Natural Sciences teacher.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, proactive, and interested in the school's development. You also work actively to develop the pedagogical work in the class in a structured manner. As a teacher with us, you are relationship-building and have a desire to follow students' learning and support them in developing further to the next step. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your tasks and are calm, stable, and clear in your communication.
