The unit consists of two primary schools and one adapted primary school on Östermalm: Gärdesskolan F-9, the adapted primary school, and Olaus Petri skola F-3. Together on these two schools, we have approximately 650 students and 120 employees working towards the goal of a good school for all.

At Gärdesskolorna, we continuously work to improve the pedagogical learning environment and to develop collegial learning. We have a school culture characterized by high expectations. Our teaching is structured and varied, combining traditional teaching materials with digital units.

Your Role

We are now looking for a certified teacher for grades F-3. As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach. The position is located at Olaus Petri skola and is assigned to grade 3 for the school year 2026–2027. You will be part of Olaus Petri skola's work team, where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of collegial learning to create new and in-depth knowledge. For the right candidate, other assignments such as team leader may be considered.

Qualifications

• You are certified and experienced in teaching Swedish, mathematics, Social Studies (SO), Natural Sciences (NO), English, technology, and music for grades 1–3. You are also qualified to teach in preschool class.
• You have at least 4 years of documented experience in the teaching profession.
• You have the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• You have the ability to develop functional routines and classroom structures.
• You have good strategies for leadership in the classroom, so that you can meet both students in need of support and students in need of extra challenges in an appropriate manner.
• You are well acquainted with the school's steering documents (curriculum, values, knowledge requirements, assessment) and design teaching in accordance with these.
• You enjoy development and want to contribute to developing the operations.
• You are secure and structured.
• You have an inclusive approach.
• Your expectations are high for yourself, your colleagues, and your students.
• You can provide good references.
• You command the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing.

Other Information

• The position is a permanent employment with the City of Stockholm and is appointed subject to it not being taken in a current restructuring process.
