The Education Administration is responsible for preschools, after-school centers, primary schools, upper secondary schools, as well as adapted primary and upper secondary schools. We have over 3,200 employees across 40 preschools, 22 primary schools, and four upper secondary schools. The Role and Responsibilities
You will work as a Special Educational Needs Teacher (SEN Teacher) from both a group and individual perspective within the Student Welfare Team (KÖSU) for students in grades 4–9.
You are responsible for teaching involving special support, planning, follow-up, development, guidance, and documentation. You provide students with support and varied teaching based on your SEN teacher competence. Working with a varied age range and varying knowledge levels with multiple students in the activity is a standard part of your work. The role involves contact with students, staff, guardians, and other external agencies.

Skogsbacksskolan is a grades F–9 school with approximately 450 students, including adapted primary school and special preschool.
The school is generally two-stream. We have a dedicated teaching staff. The Student Welfare Team (EHT) consists of school leaders, special needs teachers, counselors, school nurses, and career guidance counselors (SYV).
Who You Are
Requirements: A teacher education is required. We are looking for you who are a qualified Special Educational Needs Teacher with qualifications in mathematics, English, biology, physics, and chemistry.
You have/are:
- Clear focus on the student and strong belief in every student's desire to succeed.
- A professional attitude in meetings with students, colleagues, and guardians.
- Easy to collaborate and create good working relationships.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to structure your work efficiently.
- Ability to work well both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
- Flexible and solution-oriented.
