DevOps Engineer, Consulting Assignment – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Karlskoga or Lund

Our client is a major industrial player with complex systems and a high technical level. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consulting role and have experience in streamlining software deliveries in modern DevOps environments.

In the role of DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with development and operations, focusing on improving infrastructure, automating processes, and strengthening the DevOps culture. You will have the opportunity to influence technology choices, working methods, and the implementation of CI/CD solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment
• Automate development and operations processes to increase efficiency and quality
• Manage and optimize tools for version control, containerization, and monitoring (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Collaborate with developers and operations to implement DevOps principles
• Ensure scalable, stable, and secure infrastructure through scripting and configuration management

Your Background

• Relevant degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong skills in scripting, system administration (Linux/Windows), and container technology
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management
• Understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and log management
• Good collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in DevOps or related areas (AWS, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes)
• Experience introducing DevOps ways of working in larger organizations
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid solutions
