Strandskolan is a compulsory school (grades F-9) with 750 students located in a beautiful school building. The school achieves high results and is situated in an area with exceptional nature right around the corner. About the position

We are a school that strongly focuses on continuously developing and improving teaching. Every educator needs a large toolbox to offer successful and varied instruction. We operate from a scientific approach and work together, where every employee is important in the effort to ensure every student succeeds.

You will teach craft (slöjd) in middle and upper secondary levels, which means you should be able to work with various types of materials and techniques. Some teaching in the subject of technology for the middle school level is also included. The focus will be on wood and metal.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, with a start date of August 10, 2026.

The position is filled subject to it not being needed for internal reassignments.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified craft teacher, preferably experienced with both hard and soft materials. We appreciate that you are creative, problem-solving, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You should also be familiar with working cross-curricularly, as the school is a theme and project school. Formative assessment and inclusion are important parts of the school's operations.

You see school development and working based on current research as a natural part of your work. Your leadership is clear, and you have a warm heart for the students and a passion for challenging both yourself and them.
