Are you a dedicated educator who wants to make a real difference? At ABF Stockholm, we are currently looking for a certified upper secondary school teacher in social studies who wants to join our wonderful team. Here, you will work in bright, fresh, and well-functioning premises right on the lively Sveavägen street in central Stockholm. We offer a dynamic work environment where classroom teaching is mixed with flexible remote work.

As a person, you are development-oriented, confident in your professional role, and enjoy collaborating with others to advance education. You have a good ability to structure, prioritize, and see both the big picture and the details.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach social studies at the upper secondary level (attach your certification document to your application).
• At least two years of documented and successful experience from adult education (Komvux), with experience in both classroom teaching and distance learning setups.
• High digital competence and great confidence in using digital tools in teaching.
• Very good communication skills, meaning you express yourself fluently, clearly, and professionally in both speech and writing.

Merits

It is a big plus if you have eligibility in additional subjects such as natural science, biology, or religion. Additional subject eligibility may provide the opportunity for a higher percentage of employment.

Employment type and start date

The position is a part-time fixed-term contract located in Stockholm. Salary according to collective agreement.
