About the Workplace

Källängen School is a 1950s school located in northern Lidingö, with just over 700 students in grades 4–9. Nature is close by, and the school is only a 5-minute bus ride from Ropsten. We are divided into six year-group teams, each led by a team leader. Our results make us one of the absolute best municipal schools in the country, and perhaps one of the most pleasant places to work!

Lidingö Municipality has 11 municipal primary schools where we focus on knowledge and joyful learning, which is reflected in our good academic results. We offer a school that is part of the digital society and place great emphasis on preparing students for the future. Responsibilities

As a teacher in Wood and Metal Craft, you will teach our motivated students in an stimulating environment. Here, you will work together with knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly colleagues in a well-functioning operation with clear goals. You will work alongside our other craft teacher. The position also includes shared mentorship for a class. Both students, colleagues, and parents have high expectations. Here, you can focus on high-quality teaching.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with experience in the teaching profession. You are accustomed to working with various digital systems and see digitalization as a natural and integrated part of teaching. As a person, you can and want to collaborate with others in a listening and flexible manner. You are self-motivated and can set and maintain timeframes in a structured and efficient way. You should be able to lead, motivate, and create engagement to increase students' desire and interest in learning. We expect you to contribute with great commitment, a professional attitude, and to take initiative to constantly develop yourself and the operation.

Employment Terms

• Salary: Individual salary setting applies.
• Start Date: According to agreement.

According to the Swedish Education Act, you must present an extract from the police record before employment in preschool, school, and other work with children. You can request this extract on the police website.
