About the School

Metapontum Primary School is an independent school (grades F-9) with approximately 570 students. The school has profiles in music and mathematics and also offers a nationally recruiting advanced education program in mathematics for grades 7-9. The school is located in a beautiful cultural center in the middle of Långbro Park in Älvsjö. About the Job

For the school year 2026/2027, we are looking for an After School Care Teacher at 100%.

At our after school care, we work to ensure that every student has a positive and meaningful school day where knowledge development and social development are in focus. Our approach is based on seeing the students' entire school day, where school and after school care complement each other. Our activities and methods should reflect this and stimulate the students' progression and learning throughout the day.

We are looking for you with the qualification as an After School Care Teacher. We want you to have good collaboration skills and be able to create safe and trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are present, engaged, and responsible for creating a meaningful and stimulating activity for the students throughout the day. We assume that your goal is to create a developing, positive, and safe learning environment in the after school care where the students' interests, participation, and social interaction are in focus. You are a secure adult role model who encourages play, creativity, and community.

In your role as an After School Care Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and developing the activity together with other staff so that it maintains high quality based on the curriculum and the school's goals. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Teacher certification with eligibility to teach in after school care.
• Previous experience working as an After School Care Teacher.

Merits

• Experience in driving and developing after school care activities from a holistic perspective.

Other

We apply individual salary setting. Start date by agreement. We have a collective agreement with Almega Education and offer a fitness allowance. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application period ends.

A current extract from the police record is required for potential employment.
