In the lower secondary school, we are investing in two-teacher teaching in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. Through joint planning, co-teaching, and close collaboration between teachers, we create better conditions for every student to succeed, while simultaneously building a sustainable working environment for our educators.
Your role
You will teach Swedish as a Second Language and one additional subject in grades 7–9. Mentorship in grade 7 is included in the position.
The role includes:
- planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on the curriculum and students' needs
- working language- and knowledge-developing in all teaching
- creating a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- close collaboration with colleagues in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language through two-teacher teaching
- adapting teaching so that students with different prerequisites are given the opportunity to succeed
- building good relationships with students and guardians within the framework of mentorship
- actively contributing to the school's development work and collegial learning.

Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who:
- are a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish as a Second Language and one additional subject for grades 7–9
- have experience teaching in primary school
- work consciously to create structure, study peace, and good relationships
- have a good understanding of language- and knowledge-developing approaches
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience in co-teaching or two-teacher teaching
- experience working in socio-economically mixed areas
- habit of working systematically with follow-up and analysis of student results
As a person, you are:
- confident and clear in your leadership
- flexible and solution-oriented
- relationship-building and professional
- a team player who appreciates collaboration and shared responsibility
