Åke Nordahl AB is an established company founded over 60 years ago. The company is part of the Packoplock Scandinavia AB group, which operates in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway. The group generates a turnover of over 600 million. For over 65 years, we at Nordahl have built extensive expertise in retail packaging and know how the right solutions can strengthen both brand and customer experience in-store. Therefore, we have developed our range to meet the needs of retailers, while also offering solutions for e-commerce and warehousing. Nordahl is one of Sweden's largest and oldest suppliers of retail packaging, e-commerce packaging, and branded cash registers. We have 16 employees, about half of whom work with the sales of customer-specific products. In this department, we handle everything that needs to be branded with customers' unique prints/logos/designs. We are growing and therefore need to strengthen our team with a new Account Manager in the Stockholm area.

The Role
As an Account Manager at Nordahl, you will play a key role in our continued focus on the Retail segment in Stockholm and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for developing both existing and new customers, with a focus on customized retail packaging and solutions that strengthen customers' brands and shopping experiences.

Based in Stockholm, you will spend a significant amount of time visiting customers in the Stockholm area. For us, sales is about presence, relationships, and deeply understanding the customer's business. Therefore, we are looking for someone who thrives in the field, close to customers and their operations. You will work with well-known brands and chains, further developing partnerships while actively identifying new business opportunities and building new relationships. Whether the customer is already in our portfolio or completely new, your mission is to understand their business, find development opportunities, and create long-term business.

You will receive a thorough introduction and training during your first six months to give you the best possible conditions for success in the role.

In summary, you will:

  • Be responsible for sales and business development towards retail customers in the Stockholm area
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with both existing and new customers
  • Work proactively with customer visits and needs analysis
  • Drive the entire sales process from first contact to long-term collaboration
  • Be a key part of Nordahl's continued focus on even more customer-centric and relationship-driven sales work

Your Profile
We believe you are a person driven by creating business and building relationships. You are confident in customer meetings, have strong self-drive, and are not afraid to make the first contact or knock on the door of a potential customer. We are not looking for someone who waits for the phone to ring – we are looking for you, who are curious, proactive, and hungry to create business. You enjoy building trust and dare to reach out to new potential partners.

You thrive with freedom under responsibility but also enjoy being involved in the entire chain from idea to product delivery to the customer.

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales and/or relationship-based business within Retail or profile and packaging solutions
  • A strong business drive and natural curiosity
  • The ability to build trust at all levels within the customer organization
  • Experience in independently planning and driving your work
  • Good computer and system skills
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • A valid driver's license (Category B)
