Welcome to Treälven Preschool in Lit! We are currently looking for a preschool teacher for a temporary position of approximately 6 months, with a possibility of extension. The position is full-time (100%) and the start date is negotiable.

Approximately 125 children attend Treälven Preschool, divided into seven units. We have mixed-age groups with children aged 1–6 years. Our preschool is an inspiring workplace where we put the child's best interests first. We learn from and with each other to develop our operations. Together, we can make a difference every day.

At our preschools, we work according to the municipality's key words: fun, safe, educational, and equitable.

Your new job

We are now looking for you who are a preschool teacher. We operate from the belief that all children can and want to learn, and that they get to be in a context where they have the opportunity to use and develop their competence. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. We work with a reflective culture and strive for close collaboration among educators throughout the unit.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a creative and inspiring atmosphere where the children thrive and develop.

Common tasks

• Plan and implement activities based on the curriculum.
• Develop pedagogical content that inspires development and learning, while stimulating and challenging children's interest, curiosity, and attention.
• Offer every child secure care and promote the development and learning of all children.
• Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests, so that all children can develop based on their abilities and prerequisites.

Your qualifications

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a preschool setting.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits

• Educated and licensed preschool teacher.
• You have good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents and can apply them in daily work.
• Previous experience within the preschool sector is considered a merit.
