Your Role

Do you want to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment where quality, precision, and continuous improvement are at the forefront?

As part of our production-proximity support function, you will become a vital link between production, quality, and engineering. You will work closely with the operations to ensure that manufacturing maintains high quality, functions efficiently, and delivers according to set requirements.

Our operations involve advanced cutting machining for machinery and equipment of the absolute highest class. In this role, you will contribute to solving daily production challenges as well as driving long-term improvements that strengthen the company's competitiveness.

Examples of Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up on deviations in production, both preventive and corrective.
• Conduct root cause analyses and develop sustainable solutions to prevent recurring problems.
• Drive and participate in improvement work focused on quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Be responsible for or support First Article Inspection (FAI) work, including documentation and follow-up.
• Support production in matters related to requirements specification, regulations, and manufacturing processes.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and thrives on solving problems in a production-proximity environment. You are curious, proactive, and able to independently seek information to drive tasks forward. At the same time, you are a team player who values collaboration and builds good relationships with people at different levels of the organization.

To succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have a post-secondary education in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience from the workshop or manufacturing industry.
• Have experience with milling, turning, and/or other cutting machining processes.
• Have experience with troubleshooting, deviation management, or root cause investigations in a production environment.
• Have a strong drive to develop both yourself and the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D-CAD.
• Knowledge in production development, flow optimization, and balancing.
• Experience with setup time rationalization and Lean-inspired improvement work.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
