Why this job is for you

You want to be part of developing the energy systems of the future. By combining technology, structure, and collaboration, you contribute to driving projects that strengthen society's energy infrastructure and enable the ongoing energy transition.

As a Project Engineer with us, you will have an important role in projects where electrical power, facility development, and civil engineering meet. You work closely with project managers, technical specialists, contractors, and authorities to ensure that projects are planned, coordinated, and executed efficiently. This role suits you if you thrive in a project environment where you can combine technical knowledge with coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving.

As part of our dedicated Energy team, you will work on some of Sweden's most socially critical projects within electricity distribution, transmission grids, energy facilities, and other critical infrastructure. Here, you have the opportunity to develop together with experienced colleagues in a business where technology, sustainability, and safety are at the center.

You will become part of our business area Compliance & Management, where we support an efficient transition to digital, sustainable, and secure solutions through expert knowledge in areas such as quality, safety, sustainability, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects maintain a high technical level and contribute to efficient solutions.
  • Coordinate project activities between technical specialists, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the creation and follow-up of schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support project managers in the planning, execution, and follow-up of projects within the energy and electrical power sector.
  • Ensure that projects are conducted according to current regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Participate in technical investigations, design work, and the preparation of decision-making materials.
  • Handle project administration, documentation, and reporting.
  • Identify and monitor risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities throughout the various phases of the project.
  • Contribute to the development of working methods and processes to create efficient and sustainable project deliveries.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are structured, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating with different types of stakeholders. You thrive in project environments where you get to take responsibility, drive issues forward, and create order in complex contexts. At the same time, you are unpretentious, solution-oriented, and accustomed to working both independently and in teams.

In addition to your personal qualities, we want you to have:

  • A Master of Science, Bachelor of Science, or Higher Vocational Education in electrical power, energy technology, civil engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least three years of experience from the electrical power, energy, or civil engineering industry.
  • Experience of project work within, for example, energy infrastructure, power grids, facility projects, or technical investment projects.
  • Good understanding of project management, project administration, and follow-up.
  • ESA training or the opportunity to complete the training in close connection with the start of the assignment.
  • Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
