About the role

The team consists of six people and handles the entire supply chain for the range of finished products delivered from third-party manufacturing. The range consists of analytical instruments and spare parts. Our mission is to ensure an efficient and quality-assured delivery of products to our commercial operations.

How will you make an impact?

In the role of Supply Chain Quality Engineer, you will have operational responsibility within the team that serves our customers. This entails the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure that third-party manufacturers continuously produce products according to product specifications
  • Monitor and follow up on supplier key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate in product development projects and be responsible for Design Process Production Reviews to ensure a successful design transfer from project to line activity/product care
  • Establish routines for quality monitoring, ensure that manufacturing and quality metrics are in place, evaluate supplier KPIs including deviations and improvement actions
  • Handle supplier communication related to deviations. Follow up on corrective and preventive actions
  • Prioritize and make decisions regarding supplier production issues and handle complaints and deviations
  • Actively participate in cross-functional Product Care forums to handle and prioritize change requests
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with contract manufacturers regarding production-related issues
  • Identify and help drive improvements of relevant internal processes to facilitate portfolio management, including ensuring documentation and process compliance

This is a consultancy assignment through Adecco starting on August 17th, with the possibility of permanent hire with the client in the long term.

About you

The role will suit you if you enjoy the variety of working independently in close contact with our contract manufacturers and collaborating with various projects and colleagues from other functions. You are self-driven, highly flexible, and have a strong work ethic with the goal of getting the job done.

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent, with 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical technology industry
  • You have experience with document management
  • You have a strong result focus and developed analytical skills
  • You can communicate easily in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
