At ELAK AB, we have experienced strong growth in recent years and are now expanding our design department with another team member. We have a stable order intake and framework agreements with, among others, Uppsala Municipality and Skolfastigheter. About the role

As a junior electrical designer/planner, you will receive a thorough introduction and continuous training. You will work in close collaboration with your five colleagues in the design department and maintain constant contact with production managers, area managers, and the CEO. Your main tasks will involve drawing work using 2D and 3D tools for electrical design. We use tools such as MagiCAD. You will also be involved in project follow-up and conducting customer visits.

Initially, you will be assigned simpler tasks, and the complexity will increase as you become more comfortable in the role. We work within several different areas, and there is great variation in the character and size of our projects within both service and contracting. We work on everything from residential buildings, schools, and offices to industrial properties.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is curious about electrical design/planning and wants to develop within the field. You have several years of experience as an electrician. Relevant post-secondary education is seen as a plus but is not a requirement. Naturally, you are a proficient system user. Experience with MagiCAD or other CAD systems and/or the Office package is considered meritorious. You communicate fluently in Swedish.

As a person, you are responsible and analytical. You are structured in your work and are accustomed to working both in teams and independently. It is important that you are engaged in your work and always aim to deliver high quality. You are proactive and have a desire and curiosity to develop and grow.

The position is full-time with a permanent contract, located in Uppsala.
