The power grid industry is facing its biggest change in decades. Electrification, increased power demands, and new requirements for flexibility are changing how future power grids need to be planned and operated.

As a Grid Planner (Beredare) within Power Grids, you will play a key role in shaping and developing the future distribution network. You work closely with operations, preparing, designing, and driving the development of the grid based on investment plans, new connections, and strategic maintenance. There is also an opportunity to broaden your competence further by joining the emergency organization as a grid operations manager.

The role is varied with significant responsibility, where you independently drive your work forward with a focus on quality and efficiency. With short decision-making paths, close collaboration, and a strong technical focus, you will have the opportunity to influence both working methods and the development of the future power grid. The role includes creating safety plans, construction documents, conducting field visits, handling permit processes, building permits, and cable agreements. You also work with design, grid calculations, and documentation – all to ensure sustainable and well-functioning solutions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are an electrical engineer or have other equivalent relevant education or experience
• Have a planner education (EDU) (extra merit)
• Have a few years of practical experience from power distribution
• Are driven, self-motivated, and motivated by driving forward and achieving high-set goals
• Are interested in digitalization and the development of efficient working methods
• Have good skills in collaborating and communicating with both external and internal stakeholders
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
