About the role

As a Systems Engineer at Forsmark, you will have a strategic and technically exciting assignment. You become the "owner" of specific systems at the facility and are responsible for their function, availability, and lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on measurement, control, and protection systems
• Calibrate, check, and verify instruments (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, and level)
• Troubleshoot and rectify disturbances in instrumentation and automation systems
• Participate in audits, shutdowns, and projects within instrumentation and control systems
• Document performed work according to current procedures and regulatory requirements
• Participate in analyses of operational disturbances and contribute to improvement measures
• Ensure that work is carried out according to safety regulations and quality requirements
• Collaborate with operations personnel, engineers, and other technical functions

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant post-secondary engineering education (university or civil engineer, e.g., in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, technical physics, energy technology, or automation) or equivalent work experience.
• Has good system understanding within mechanics, electricity, or instrumentation and control.
• Has experience in technical analysis, investigations, or documentation.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as the role involves a lot of documentation and regulatory requirements.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience from process industry, power production, or other safety-critical operations.
