Seize the opportunity to become part of a growing company at the forefront of technology. ScandiNova is now looking for a System Support Engineer who wants to work closely with advanced systems and contribute to solutions that make a real difference!

This is a role for you who want to combine technology with a more mobile and international daily life – where you get to work hands-on with troubleshooting, customer contact, and take greater responsibility in the delivery of complex systems.

About the Role

In the role of System Support Engineer at ScandiNova, you work broadly with service, support, and technical advice related to the company's advanced systems. You have a central function where you both support customers and act as a technical expert internally towards, for example, production, testing, project management, and the sales department. The role also involves close work with ScandiNova's products, where you are responsible for ensuring quality and functionality at different stages – from testing to commissioning.

The role is practical in nature and involves hands-on work, where you troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify technical problems at the customer's site. You often function as first-line support and play a key role in quickly identifying solutions. The position has an international aspect with frequent travel. We are looking for someone who thrives in a mobile daily routine and sees traveling as something developmental and rewarding.

Your Responsibilities

  • Responsible for FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), commissioning, and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
  • Provide support and service to both external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform service assignments, both at ScandiNova's premises and at customer sites.
  • Conduct incoming inspection and validation of advanced components.
  • Act as technical support in quotation work and during technical inquiries.

About You

We are looking for you who are a technically driven problem solver with a great interest in production, service, and manufacturing. You thrive in a role where you get to work close to the operations and combine technical analysis with practical, hands-on work. Furthermore, you are meticulous and structured in your approach, with a strong commitment to creating efficient and sustainable solutions.

Formal Requirements

  • University degree in engineering (Civil Engineer or University Engineer).
  • Experience with programming (Python or PLC).
  • Basic knowledge in electronics.
  • Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Qualifications that are Meritorious

  • Experience in a workshop environment.
  • Experience with documentation and technical specifications.
  • Language skills in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
  • Experience with RF systems.
