The Chemistry Laboratory is responsible for controlling the product manufactured in our factory. We also participate in various projects driven by the company. The laboratory, which operates according to GMP, consists of approximately 60 happy, competent, engaged, and responsible individuals who work together to ensure that what we manufacture maintains high quality. We are now looking for you who want to become part of our team.

Job Responsibilities

As a Laboratory Engineer, your main tasks/responsibilities include:

• Performing laboratory work according to current analytical methods and GMP.
• Compiling, reporting, and reviewing analytical results.
• Initiating and investigating deviations.
• Actively participating in the department's improvement work.

The dominant analytical techniques at the laboratory are chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemistry, and microscopy.

About You

To be successful in the role of Laboratory Engineer with us, you need to:

• Be meticulous, quality-conscious, and flexible.
• Have good teamwork skills, as the work is a team effort where you depend on your colleagues.
• Have good self-leadership, meaning you have the ability to plan, prioritize, and handle several ongoing activities simultaneously.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic education in analytical chemistry or equivalent, and
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in a laboratory with a chemical focus.
• Worked in GMP-regulated operations.

About the Position

One position is a permanent employment, and the other is a parental leave substitute during the period 2026-08-15 – 2027-08-31.

Both positions are located in Uppsala.
