Job Description

Do you want to combine leadership, business development, and technical competence in a role where you have the opportunity to influence both the business and employee development?

We are now looking for a Service Area Manager to join our team within Electrical Engineering in Uppsala. Here you will have a key role where you are responsible for the development, results, and employees of the service area, while also contributing your technical expertise in assignments and customer dialogues.

In this role, you are responsible for:

• Strategy, profitability, and results within the service area
• Quality assurance as well as competence and personnel development
• Customer relations and business development
• Developing the business together with other units in the region
• Contributing to the business area's long-term development and growth
• Building strong teams and creating clarity around common goals

You work closely with the operations and employees through modern and coaching leadership. The role also involves you being actively involved in projects to some extent, for example as project manager, specialist, or technical advisor.

Our group currently consists of approximately 15 employees with varying backgrounds, experience, and competencies. We work on both large and small multidisciplinary projects, primarily within hospitals and other complex property environments. The team is characterized by strong cohesion, high competence, and low staff turnover.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are an engaged leader with the ability to create results through people. You are driven by developing the business, building long-term customer relationships, and creating good conditions for employees to grow.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Experience of leadership within technical operations
• University education in engineering or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good system proficiency and experience with Office 365 as well as business systems
• An inclusive and development-oriented leadership style
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• A business-like and result-oriented approach to work

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience of project management
• Experience of business development
• Leadership training
• Experience from technical consulting
• Certification in project management or leadership
