About the Role

As an Engineer in Material Production, you work close to our production processes and machines that influence product properties and quality. The work is varied and independent, with significant scope to influence how we develop methods, process flows, and technical solutions. You collaborate daily with production staff, technicians, and other engineers, participating in both improvement work and product development projects.

Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing how machines and processes affect product quality and properties
• Optimizing process flows for increased efficiency and stability
• Working on method and technology development within pressing and cutting machining
• Supporting production with technical problem-solving
• Participating in product projects for the industrialization of new products
• Driving improvement projects that create tangible benefits in daily operations

Location and Flexibility

The position is located in Gimo.

Your Background and Personality

We are looking for you who have an understanding of the production environment's demands on quality, efficiency, and safety. To succeed in the role, you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Physics, or another related engineering field, and communicate fluently in Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Industrial production where machines and processes affect product quality
• Machining, such as pressing or cutting machining
• Improvement or development projects within production or process technology
• Collaboration with other engineers and technicians in production-proximate environments
• English proficiency in both speech and writing

With a structured approach and initiative, you take responsibility for ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently. Collaboration is second nature to you, and you actively contribute to the team's common goals while thriving in independent work.
