We are now looking for a System Engineer to join our System & Software team. This role is perfect for you who enjoy problem-solving, system testing, and hands-on technical work in a high-tech environment where quality and robustness are in focus.

About the role

Here you will work with troubleshooting, verification, commissioning, and technical support of our ASTar instruments in close collaboration with development, QA/RA, and customer support.

The location is Uppsala.

Key responsibilities

• System testing and verification of instruments
• Troubleshooting hardware and software
• Commissioning and quality control of ASTar systems
• Technical support and escalations
• Analysis of test data and technical reporting
• Documentation according to regulatory requirements

We are looking for someone who has

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in relevant technical areas
• Experience in software testing and/or system development
• Good understanding of Windows PC environments and hardware/software
• Experience in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious qualifications

• Embedded systems
• Medical technology or diagnostics
• ISO 13485 and QMS
• Hardware-near programming or test scripting
