You will work closely with other engineers in cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and develop future technology. At Knightec, you have the opportunity to grow as an automation engineer, from supporting smaller companies' R&D with control systems and PLC solutions to contributing advanced automation expertise to larger industrial customers. We have a strong presence within medtech, life science, industry, and the automotive industry, which offers you unique technical challenges.

Responsibilities

Here you get the freedom to think big and the tools to realize your ideas. As a key player in our projects, you will:

• Drive the development of automation systems, from requirements to implementation and commissioning.
• Design system architecture and integrations between control platforms, HMI, PLC/PC, and sensors.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team to realize new products or upgrades.

Qualifications

• Documented experience in automation development (control systems, PLC/PC, HMI, automated equipment).
• Good knowledge of automation platforms: e.g., Beckhoff, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or DeltaV.
• Experience with programming/development environments: e.g., TwinCAT, CoDeSys, or similar.
• A relevant higher education or university degree.
• Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English.
