About me:

I am an active 11-year-old girl living in Älvsjö with my family. I enjoy having things happening around me. In my free time, I go swimming, participate in various forms of parasport, and take trips with my family. On weekdays, I am at school and have an assistant with me, so you will also assist me there.

About you:

You have a strong commitment, patience, and are perceptive. It is important to me that you are calm and secure, and that you can interpret my signals. I appreciate that you take initiative, are creative, and flexible. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with children with disabilities and if you see the job with me as long-term. Experience with tube feeding/stomach button and via feeding pump is desirable.

On-call duty:

This position includes an extended (and compensated) on-call assignment. This means that during certain weeks, you must be reachable outside of working hours to either call in a substitute or step in yourself to assist when intervention is required. This is Assistans i Balans' way of ensuring that our clients always have a familiar assistant by their side. The assignment is shared among all assistants working according to a regular schedule.

The position:

The position is 75% with varied working hours, primarily days, evenings, and weekends on a rolling schedule. Being awake at night may occur, as the position includes stepping in extra during urgent vacancies.
