Wood and Metal Craft Teacher for Stockholm International Academy – Häggvik

Stockholm International Academy in Häggvik, Sollentuna, is a well-established F–9 school that opened in 2016. The school is located in a quiet, nature-friendly area with good transport links via both commuter train and bus. Approximately 350 students attend the school, from preschool class to grade 9.

We are a private school following the Swedish national curriculum, and instruction is conducted in Swedish.

Our well-equipped special classrooms for crafts, home economics, consumer knowledge, and natural sciences create excellent conditions for learning and creativity. The school has two playgrounds that encourage play and movement, and a small forest is one of our closest neighbors.

About the position

We are now looking for a certified teacher in Wood and Metal Craft for grades 3–9. The position is 80% and spread over four working days per week. You will collaborate with our textile craft teacher – you will each be responsible for half a class.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with qualifications in Wood and Metal Craft
• Has experience teaching in grades 3–9
• Has clear and secure leadership in the classroom
• Is accustomed to working digitally and with language development
• Is flexible, cooperative, and proactive
• Has good ability to meet students and guardians
• Is well-versed in the primary school curriculum and general guidelines
