Job Responsibilities

The services of escort and substitute care are provided in accordance with "The Act on Special Support and Service for Certain Persons with Disabilities (LSS)."

• Escort: You accompany a person who has difficulty going out on their own to activities outside the home. The purpose is to break isolation and provide opportunities for social contact, culture, and leisure activities. Days and times for escorting are adapted to the individual's needs.
• Substitute Caregiver: You relieve relatives by temporarily taking over the care of a child/young person in their home. This gives relatives time for rest and their own activities. Days and times for substitution are adapted to the individual's needs. Substitution usually takes place on weekends and weekday evenings, for a few hours per week.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who are engaged, responsible, and as a substitute caregiver have a genuine interest in children and young people. You are flexible and confident in yourself, and enjoy creating structure and providing support where needed.

Experience working with people with disabilities or nursing education or equivalent education is meritorious, but not a requirement.

Employment Type/Conditions

• Scope: A few hours per week/month, hourly employment
• Compensation: Hourly wage according to current agreement
• Location: Vänersborg Municipality
