Primary Care Centre Sjöbo is strategically located in the heart of Skåne, with easy commuting from Ystad, Simrishamn, Lund, and Malmö. For those who choose to drive, we offer free parking right outside the primary care centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome to a developing primary care centre focused on development and education, including for resident doctors (ST-doctors).

As a specialist physician, you will contribute your expertise and experience during our scheduled rounds, Reko-rounds, and doctor meetings. During the terms, we organize South East Doctor Meetings with invited speakers. All staff have their own laptops and mobile phones to enable flexibility and remote work. You also have scheduled preparation time.

As part of the MLA role, you will join the primary care centre's leadership group and work on developing medical quality and patient safety at the centre. You will also be part of an MLA network and maintain close contact with the chief physicians. The MLA assignment covers 20% of the position.

As a specialist physician here, you will work alongside five other specialist physicians, nine resident doctors (ST-doctors), and two newly graduated doctors (AT-doctors). Together with other professional groups at the centre, you are responsible for investigating, treating, and following up on our patients. You will have your own listed patients based on your employment percentage, covering both planned and emergency consultations. Further education and collegial collaboration are prioritized to create an stimulating and attractive work environment.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, but we also offer the possibility of part-time work or hourly employment. If you are already employed at another primary care centre, there is an opportunity to share a position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you if you are a licensed physician authorized to practice in Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 on the Council of Europe scale is also a requirement. We prefer that you have work experience as a specialist physician at a primary care centre.
