About the Clinic
At Orofacial Medicine, you will primarily work with adult patients in need of specialized dental care, often as part of disease treatment. Orofacial medicine refers to dental care for patients whose general health condition requires treatment to take place in close proximity to hospital resources. Orofacial medicine is a referral center for dentistry and other healthcare services for patients who, due to illness, disability, or dental anxiety, require dental care to be performed at a dental unit with special conditions and specific competence, including anesthesia dentistry.
The clinic in Landskrona is located on the hospital grounds and has four treatment rooms. Here, a cheerful group of experienced colleagues is ready to support you. Orofacial Medicine works closely with healthcare services, and we provide dental care as an integral part of healthcare. We have close cooperation with other clinics within Orofacial Medicine in Skåne as well as other specialties. The clinics are united under the same clinic management with joint subject days and other competence-building activities.
Orofacial Medicine in Skåne has joint leadership, and we have close cooperation between our four clinics in Malmö, Lund, Landskrona, and Kristianstad with joint therapy meetings, APT (Annual General Meetings/Staff meetings), subject councils, development days, ST (specialist training) planning, development projects, and more.
