About the workplace

Furillen in Rydebäck is a building with 72 apartments across four floors, one of which is dedicated to dementia care. Furillen is one of the first care homes in Sweden built based on experiences gained during the pandemic to create a care facility that is as infection-safe as possible. Welfare technology solutions, such as smart toilets and touchless faucets, are used throughout the facility. Furillen's care home is located near bus stops and the train station in Rydebäck, offering excellent commuting opportunities.

Job responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you work daily to enable individuals to live as independent a life as possible, and you hold overall responsibility for ensuring that care, nursing, and medical interventions are performed in a patient-safe manner.

In your work, you collaborate in teams, both internally and externally, to meet the individual's care needs. This may involve contact with other healthcare providers as well as with relatives and next of kin. In team meetings, you are expected to take an active role in driving development and quality improvement work.

The role also involves mentoring and educating care staff on everything from profession-specific interventions, attitudes within your area of responsibility, and delegation procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with good knowledge of current legislation, such as the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Social Services Act (SoL). You need to have good computer skills and experience with documentation. A valid B-class driver's license is required.

Experience working with BPSD, Senior Alert, the Palliative Care Registry, or LifeCare is considered an advantage. Further advantages include in-depth knowledge regarding incontinence, diabetes care, palliative care, dementia care, or further education in elderly care.
