ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Inre Kraft are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for our client in Bastuträsk.

Working hours are weekdays and weekends as follows:

  • 07:00–23:00

  • 23:00–07:00 (sleeping on-call)

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a positive man in his 30s with a strong interest in cars who enjoys watching films and motorsport. He also likes listening to music and playing video games together with his assistants. He needs your help in his daily life as he has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and a tracheostomy. It is an advantage if you have previous care experience, as well as experience with tracheostomy, breathing mask, cough assist machine, sucting device, ventilator, oxygen, and feeding tube.

The tasks include:

  • Transfers

  • Exercise/Training

  • Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals

  • Household chores

We are looking for you who are responsible and unpretentious. Since the work involves close cooperation in the client's home, we place great emphasis on your personal suitability. We would like you to be sensitive and proactive, with the ability to read situations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language

  • Driver's license + access to a car (you need to get to work if you do not live in the immediate area)

MERITS

  • Experience with any of the following aids: tracheostomy, breathing mask, cough assist machine, sucting device, ventilator, oxygen, feeding tube

Employment level: Needs-based and summer temporary positions

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Inre Kraft, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal details (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal details from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
